DG Solaris (Danny Green) and Jeremy Tuplin have been making and releasing albums in their own right for a number of years, only vaguely aware of each other’s existence. One night in Peru, following an intense shamanic ceremony, Danny had a vivid dream that he and Jeremy were floating high above the ocean. The next morning he contacted Jeremy to share this strange astral encounter and a new correspondence began. Inevitably the idea to write a song together emerged. A global pandemic created a new challenge to their project but sure enough, the dreamlike, psychedelic, ‘Ocean/Are You Weird Enough?’ followed, a song exploring the oneness, and weirdness, of people within a collective whole.
