Casual attitude and heady melodies: bad boy ways to stir up a crowd. The influence of British rock is not hidden in the five Parisians (The Smiths, The Last Shadow Puppets…), but the soundtrack they compose could be that of a 60s film noir. It’s the right balance of mystery and teasing candor, where the fuzz is in ambush of a ritornello.
Originally from the southern suburbs of Paris, the two composers, Alec (guitar/backing vocals) and Rawad (guitar/vocals), are hungry to write, compose, mix their influences and share the spirit of their ailments. Sheitan & The Pussy Magnets was formed with the support of Vincent on drums, after returning from a pilgrimage to England, and the band stabilized with Etienne on bass (ex-Red Woods) and Michael on keyboards (Mandarina).
With their first EP « Nothing To Be Said » released at the end of 2021, they sang their bad blood through Parisian venues and on the set of the Culturebox show. Several media have praised the inspiration from across the Channel. During 2022, the band went back to the studio to record a second EP entitled « In The Mood For Nothing », which will be released on March 10th 2023.

Attitude désinvolte et mélodies entêtantes : des manières de mauvais garçons pour agiter une foule. L’influence du rock british ne se cache pas chez les cinq parisiens (The Smith, The Last Shadow Puppets…), mais la bande son qu’ils composent pourrait être celle d’un film noir des années 60. C’est un juste équilibre de mystère et de candeur taquine, où les fuzz sont en embuscade d’une ritournelle.
Originaires de la banlieue sud parisienne, les deux compositeurs, Alec (guitare/chœurs) et Rawad (guitare/chant), ont faim d’écrire, de composer, de mêler leurs influences et de partager l’entrain de leurs maux. Sheitan & The Pussy Magnets se forme avec l’appui de Vincent à la batterie, au retour d’un pèlerinage en Angleterre, et le groupe se stabilise avec Étienne à la basse (ex-Red Woods) et Michael aux claviers (Mandarina).
Avec leur premier EP « Nothing To Be Said » sorti fin 2021, ils ont chanté leur mauvais sang à travers les salles parisiennes et sur le plateau de l’émission Culturebox. Plusieurs médias y ont salué l’inspiration d’outre-manche. Courant 2022 le groupe est repassé en studio pour y saisir de nouvelles errances et enregistrer un second EP intitulé « In The Mood For Nothing », qui sortira le 10 mars 2023.
