Voice of a generation who wants to dream, Isambourg is a 25-year-old French singer-songwriter. Originally from the North of France, he grew up in Mauritius, where he discovered new musical influences. Launched at a very young age in the music industry, he performed a number of opening acts for renown artists such as Patrick Fiori at the Olympia, Leroy Sanchez at the Théâtre Les Etoiles or Jack&Jack at La Cigale. At the same time, he signed a three year deal with Sony Music as a duo act with Philippine Lavrey.
Young discovery of the French scene, Isambourg reveals his poetic and luminous universe with pop-folk highlights, with influences of Léo Ferré and Charlotte Cardin. His musical project has matured along the French west coast and Mauritian beaches, taking the listener to the open sea.
Now self-produced, Isambourg organized his first live show on April 30, 2022 in Paris, accompanied by Pierre Elgrishi, bassist for Clara Luciani, Mathieu Gramoli, drummer for Her, and Tom Bourcier, pianist-guitarist for Métro. He also performed at Lollapallooza, produced by Live Nation, on Saturday July 16, 2022 in Paris.
Isambourg’s first EP will be released on December 1st; a sensitive exploration of today’s world through the eyes of a carefree youth.
Porte-voix d’une génération qui veut rêver, Isambourg est un auteur-compositeur et interprète français de 25 ans. Originaire du Nord de la France, il grandit à l’île Maurice, où il découvre de nouvelles influences musicales. Lancé dès le plus jeune âge dans le monde musical, il participe à de nombreuses premières parties d’artistes renommés, tels que Patrick Fiori à L’Olympia, Leroy Sanchez au Théâtre Les Etoiles ou encore Jack&Jack à La Cigale. Parallèlement, il signe comme artiste pendant trois ans chez Sony Music, en duo avec Philippine Lavrey.
Jeune découverte de la scène française, Isambourg dévoile un univers poétique et lumineux aux accents pop-folk, qui rencontrent les influences de Léo Ferré et Charlotte Cardin. Ses projets musicaux ont mûri le long de la côte ouest française et des plages mauriciennes, entraînant l’auditeur vers le grand large.
Aujourd’hui en auto-production, Isambourg a organisé son premier live le 30 avril 2022 à Paris, entouré de Pierre Elgrishi, bassiste pour Clara Luciani, Mathieu Gramoli, batteur pour Her, et Tom Bourcier, pianiste-guitariste pour Métro. Il a également joué à Lollapallooza, produit par Live Nation, le samedi 16 juillet 2022 à Paris.
Le premier EP d’Isambourg sortira le 1er Décembre; une exploration sensible du monde d’aujourd’hui, à travers le regard d’une jeunesse insouciante.
