Alone on stage, with her keyboard and vinyl turntable, Lisa Ducasse invites you to travel with her texts and her voice. Born in Mauritius, she maintains and cultivates a fierce attachment to childhood and the capacity for wonder in her adult and creative life. Inspired by real-life escapes, her songs show a willingness to express the meeting of the vulnerable and the indomitable, in notes and words that are unbound, personal and current. After playing as an opening act in venues like the Olympia, the Seine Musicale, the Point Ephémère, the Petit Bain and the PopUp, Lisa Ducasse is currently preparing a second EP in self-production, entitled « Palomino », assisted by Guillaume Poncelet (Gaël Faye, Ben Mazué) in the arrangements. Palomino is a desire to tell the journey, the cavalcades. The five songs that make up this project, written between South America and Paris, are an attempt to take the liberty of taming both the fragile and the wild, to express the encounter with the other, and to imagine lives. They are the fierce affirmation that it is too early to give up on beauty. It is too early to give up at all ».

Née à l’Ile Maurice, elle conserve et cultive un attachement farouche à l’enfance et à la capacité d’émerveillement dans sa vie adulte et créative. Inspirées d’échappées réelles, ses chansons font preuve d’une volonté de dire la rencontre du vulnérable et de l’indomptable, en notes et en mots déliés, personnels et actuels. Après des premières parties à l’Olympia, à la Seine Musicale, au Point Ephémère, au Petit Bain et au PopUp, ainsi qu’une création aux Trois Baudets, Lisa Ducasse prépare actuellement un deuxième EP en auto-production, intitulé « Palomino », épaulée par Guillaume Poncelet (Gaël Faye, Ben Mazué) aux arrangements. Palomino, c’est une envie de raconter le voyage, les cavalcades. Les cinq chansons qui composent ce projet, écrites entre l’Amérique du Sud et Paris, sont une prise de liberté, celle d’apprivoiser à la fois le fragile et le sauvage, de dire la rencontre avec l’autre, et de s’imaginer des vies.
