Marlo Gold is the project of Jordan Konkol. The name was inspired by Christopher Marlowe’s Faust, and Mellow Gold by Beck. Primarily a piano player and poet, Jordan found an acoustic guitar in a London airbnb, which began a fascination with 90s acoustic rock and surrealist slacker lyrics. In May 2023 Jordan began a collaboration with producer William Wild, which resulted in the forthcoming NOB Mixtape. September 2024 marked the release of NPC, a song that was picked up by Groover Obsessions. The mixtape includes 10 tracks slated to release in 2024 / 2025.
